So What?

Pin It So What If:

*We went to Disney on Ice last week and it was a fantastic show! I was totally impressed. It was 2 hours long and the kids loved every minute. Heck, so did I! I'll have a recap tomorrow complete with pictures but here's a little peak at how much the kids enjoyed the show.

*I had Zoey try on all her pants last week and they all fit. This week, they are all too short. What? How?

*Maia went to a very disorganized and not planned appropriately birthday party this weekend that ended up being more work for me than I thought possible. How do such supremely unorganized people survive in this world?

*Matt and I are shaking our heads at why we didn't cut off the cable channels sooner. We haven't missed them one bit. Anything we want to watch on a cable channel we just hook up the computer to the TV and stream it from online. Like Sons of Anarchy and Homeland. This week, American Horror Story and The Walking Dead.

*My kids are working on their Christmas lists and I may need to resort to pole dancing in order to foot the bill this year. Maybe I could get people to pay me NOT to dance on the pole? Hmmm....I should check into that.

*Mase is loving his new preschool. We've had a few teary morning drop offs but for the most part he is having a blast and the teachers tell me he is just a pure delight to have in the class. I'm so relieved, he's mama's baby.

*How is it already mid-October? Where the heck did September go? This year is just flying by and soon it will be 2013! Holy cow. I look at my calendar and cringe at all the things coming up in the next few months. But at least Matt has another week of vacation coming up in December and a 5 day one in November.

*We're already trying to plan out our vacations for next year. One of my kids suggested Paris. Yeah. Clearly they are confused about our income bracket. No worries, I think the uncontrollable laughter coming from their father clued them in.

*Zoey has decided that childproof door knob covers are for chumps and took it upon herself to dismantle every single one in our house this weekend. Half the time I can't even get the dang doors open with the knobs yet somehow the 2 year old figured out how to not only use them but how to dismantle them. Great. Never thought I'd wish for dumb kids.

So What Wednesday.

  1. Delilah!! It's been too long. I had to laugh at the childproof doorknobs because I am one of those people thaat can't open them. While toddlers can do it, I am somehow the dummy that can't do it.
It's good to be here. I hope you're well!

  2. They aren't child proof door handle covers, they just give you enough time to stumble through your other kids names to get to the right name before yelling to stop. A better name would be "slows your child down door covers parents can't work".

  3. I was going to buy a couple of the doorknob covers but KC's daycare provider told me on his first day that he figured out how to overcome the ones there. I'm beginning to think that toddler-proofing is a myth made up by childless child experts.
